What personal AGI means for a business owner.
Start with the work you want help with. Then ask what information, tools, and rules an agent would need to do it well.

The idea behind personal AGI
In his August 2026 Startup School talk, Garry Tan uses “personal AGI” for agents that work with a person's context, memory, and procedures. It is his framing of a personalized system, not a universally agreed test of artificial general intelligence.
For a business owner, the useful question is concrete: can the system prepare a correct brief, find an approved answer, or complete a defined internal task with less effort from the team?
Four parts of useful assistance
Interprets the request. Can still make mistakes.
Approved records, definitions, and instructions.
Connections that can read or perform permitted work.
Scope, access, review, schedules, and recovery.
This describes a practical agent system available today. It is not a claim that Puestario provides AGI.
A model
The AI that interprets a request. Its abilities and usage costs depend on the model and service you choose.
Approved context
The records, decisions, and procedures it may use. Keep sources and dates so a person can check an answer.
Connected tools
Access to the calendar, files, or other systems required for the task. Each connection needs permission and testing.
Rules and checks
A schedule, approval boundaries, a completion record, and a person to handle exceptions.
Make it useful in an ordinary day
- 08:00Start of day
Priorities, overdue items, and meetings to prepare.
- 13:00A timely reminder
Bring an agreed commitment back to the right person.
- 17:00End of day
What is done, what is open, and who owns tomorrow's next step.
Schedules, recipients, and actions are defined in scope. Failed runs need an alert and a recovery path.
Start with meeting preparation. Give the agent approved notes and a calendar entry. Ask for the last decision, open commitments, and three questions to resolve. Check every important claim against its source.
Once that works, agree on a recurring schedule. When a source is missing, the agent should say so. When a commitment changes, update the approved record. More useful memory comes from careful corrections, not simply saving more text.

What “your AI” should mean
Ask which files you can export, who controls the credentials, how you can correct or delete memory, and what happens if you change providers. Your own computer can still send approved information to a cloud model.
Keep owner-only records separate from shared team knowledge. An agent should not remember sensitive information for everyone just because one person mentioned it.
Read the vision. Test the job.
The sources below support different visions of agents, assistants, or future AI. They are selected reading, not endorsements of Puestario. Their predictions do not establish the performance of an installation in your office.
Measure time spent doing and checking the task, accuracy, missed items, failures, and total cost. A large number of messages is not the same as useful work completed.
